Santorini Sea Kayak takes all necessary protection measures from Covid-19
Our base, our kayaks, all our equipment and our car are washed and disinfected daily following all the protocols of the WHO and the Greek state.

With Commitment to the Guests, Guides & Staff
SSK takes the health and safety of our guests, guides and staff as our highest priority. In light of the risks associated with COVID-19, SSK is modifying its operations.
For guests who choose to join us on an adventure, in our sea kayak base , we welcome you with important changes. We ask, as a responsible and conscientious traveller, that you assist us in following guidelines for the health and safety of our community

Pre-Trip statement
Do not book with us if you or a member of your party is ill, exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
All SSK guests will be asked to sign a health statement.

Face Masks / Coverings
We encourage all guests to wear face masks / coverings when being in our mini van and at our base.

Employees
All our employees will be run a daily health check and will be wearing masks at our base, or while washing the equipment, or when driving. 
All our office work while be done online and from home.

Social Distancing 
Our guides and guests should maintain appropriate social distance whenever possible. All shuttles will be modified to promote social distancing through reduced capacity and the strategic loading of seats to promote distance between parties.

Increased Cleaning & Sanitization
Additional cleaning / sanitization / disinfection protocols for guest areas, lodging, vehicles, shared and specialty equipment.

Group Size & Building Capacity Modifications
Reduced group sizes on trips, including 50% capacity on busses and transportation when mixing parties.

Furthermore
Sea kayaking is an outdoor activity in which kayakers are always at safe distances without compromising on quality and entertainment.
So the necessary distance is a given.  At the same time, sea tours take place mainly in unorganized and remote areas and beaches.
In addition, we decided to reduce the number of participants per group and per guide.

Pick up and drop off services will still run but with an additional cost so you can have the flexibility of renting a car or choose your own transportation

We also will start operating supervised kayak rentals under the constant supervision of our guides.  Previous experience and a small introductory course that we will do at our base will be necessary.  Rentals will be made every half hour and contacting us ahead a rental booking will be the preferred practice.
We look forward to paddle with you on the water and enjoy the outdoors where the real freedom and fun begins

In order to comply with the new regulations Santorini Sea Kayak decided to:

• Minimise groups to up to 16 guests 
• Benefit is a more attentive, unique and customised experience
• Although we include the pick up and drop off service we highly recommend to rent a car
• Benefit renting a car and explore more the beautiful island
• Exclude picnic lunch provided from us 
• Benefit getting your own fruits and snacks (cereal-bars) from a bakery or even enjoying a meal next to the water in one of the restaurants ​
